Re: Sandman's 85 Resto

Yep we are going for the speeduino. Friend of mine has built one and has his 22re turbo running pretty well off of it. And they are really cheap too. Hopefully I’ll have it in and running by spring!

Re: Sandman's 85 Resto

Haven't posted in here for quite a while again as I'm not on as much. But, I am in the process of acquiring a standalone ECU that is going to be arduino based and I assume that this hasn't been done before on one of these bad boys. It is also going to be fairly cheap so I will keep everyone updated ...

Re: Broken Off Gear Change Boss

You do really to do a proper job.

I have used Q-Bond with good success but that's when I have the broken part to glue back on.

If you do you could try that.

Tried Q-bond back in the day but screwed it up on the first try and then lost the contours to get it to seat properly. When I ...

It's takes a bold person to buy a turbo without any knowledge of it before purchase so this will not often happen.
This is what I did. I am still clueless but managed to get it running and riding after 20+ years of sitting so I guess I did alright

However the kit that I received had the correct font, but not the black background. I will take a picture of it tonight and post it. I'll look ...

Re: how much do you spend on you bike?

If its a hobby that you enjoy then there really isn't any amount that makes it not "worth it". Its up to everyone to determine how much they want to spend on their own hobbies. If you have to ask the question of if its worth it or not then maybe you should reconsider it yourself.

Throw new tank and plastics on
get slow air leak in front tire fixed
fix rear brake
put fluid in front brakes after new stainless lines bypassing anti-dive
